There are several reasons for this. First, it is essential to know who is truly active and available. Second, we sometimes face situations where an organizer requests a specific referee pair but hasn't actually contacted them beforehand, resulting in them being unavailable. For this reason, keeping our availability up to date is absolutely crucial. Thank you for your understanding.
